    Tight ridge line

I have a HH Safari because I'm a big boy. I'm just learning about Hammock camping and loveing it. I do have a few questions. No matter how tight or loose I hang the hammock when Im in it the ridgeline is verry tight. #2 I am going camping this weekend and it is suppose to be 29Deg. I dont have a under blanket yet. I have a pad from GG its 1/4 closed cell wide pad. Ive read about Truck winshield insulators and the bubble wrap with foil on both sides. Until I get a UB what would be a good choice for insulation on the bottom side. I can sew and make about anything so any suggestions will be appreciated. I blame all this on Seanemerys YouTube videos. I am haveing a ball with this stuf.

Go with the closed cell pad ... add something under your shoulders if you can. Pick up a windshield insulator as well if you can..... more for back up.
As to to the ridgeline ... hang your straps higher at the trees. May help.
Sorry to get you into ALL THIS FUN.....
