    Custom Climashield Hexon 1.6 Hammock

I have a charcoal gray 11 foot. insulated hexon 1.6 hammock made for me by theclark5. The quilt part is blaze orange .66 membrane, and it uses climashield 5.0 insulation with black binding. The quilt also uses a top unlike the original design. Hammock is also a LEFT lay (head right, feet left) with knotty mods. The hammock is awesome and has only been used once overnight. Comes with gray amsteel continuous loop and lash it ridgeline. The design limits compression and eliminates the fiddle factor associated with underquilts. Full length Underquilt is adjustable at the ends with shockcord to vent in hot weather. For more questions, feel free to ask and also check out this thread. https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...ulated-Hammock Thanks $150 shipped

What's the weight limit on that 1.6 hexon
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

The way I have heard is vendors use a comfortability rating rather than a concrete weight limit. I'm sure there are heavier using hexon 1.6 just fine, but it could be too stretchy and uncomfortable if you're too far over. Also continuously using a hammock that you're too heavy for can shorten the life of the hammock.

Yea, I was looking on my phone and I thought I saw 325. No issues with 350. I have a 1.6 DL and love it.

That would really be nice for a hang I have coming up this weekend. Think im cutting things close though.
