    Columbia River Gorge

Still new to the hammock community. I have lived in the Gorge most of my life, but unfortunately most of my friends are more car campers. Looking to meet new people in the community and maybe plan some trips. Thoughts this would be as good of place as any!!

Any other members from the Gorge area??

I backpack and hang in the greater gorge area myself. I only have a couple of buddies whom go backpacking with, and it is further down the list for them.

The gorge has been on my list for awhile and I'd definitely be down for a weekend trip, though it is about a 4+ hour drive for me so a bit of heads up is good... Always loved the area but haven't had an opportunity to backpack there yet.

Count me in as well. I hike, kayak, and photograph in the gorge all the time. I'm always looking for folks with similar interests as few of my friends do these things.

Hey, all. I live in Vancouver, WA, with my step-brother. We'd both be open to some group hang/hike action! We'd need a bit of warning to coordinate days off, but it would be most excellent.

We live in the Portland area, spend a lot of time in the gorge. At one time we lived in Bridal Veil also on the side of Larch Mountain.

Unorganized Hang with say two weeks notice would be great fun.
