    Loco uq help

Hi guys. Wondering if any of you can tell me about loco uq. Looking At picking one up full length down. Curious about the baffles. Would a straight lay or right lay work better with a wbbb? Please let me know ur thoughts. Thanks

Since I believe it is the only of its kind as far as baffle design, and hasn't been around long, I can say that TONS of people have used straight baffled UQs with a WBBB for years and been completely happy and toasty warm. I think a common misconception with new hangers is that a certain style of UQ is needed for a certain hammock model, when really almost all gathered end hammocks function fundamentally in the same manner. The UQ is more importantly matched with your lay style, length, weight priorities etc. That being said, it does seem that the directional baffle design has its merit in efficiency with a diagonal lay, and it was designed for a reason. You can't go wrong either way IMHO. I would recommend contacting George at loco libre with any questions, as vendors in the community are normally very helpful and responsive regarding customer service, and would likely be able to provide any information as the designer and creator of said product.

Thanks man appreciate the input. I'll definitely try to contact him. I've just been using an old diy deal I made up. Time for an upgrade.

Be careful as Georges (LocoLibre) quilts are like a piece of art and you may start collecting them I've got two and I'm about to order another.

I recently purchased a full length 20° Habanero with Right Lay. It's my first underquilt, so I can't tell you if it works better than straight baffles, but I can tell you it is an amazing experience after struggling with pads for several years. Incredibly warm piece of equipment.
