Well after another fitful night with my current tq/uq setup I decided I was done and ordered myself a baller on a budget (2 kids) setup. Picked up a Cayenne 6.0 uq (I actually prefer synthetic under me) and a Serrano 30* with 1oz overstuff.

The long wait will be rough but luckily the end of school (I teach) is exactly 8 weeks off as well.

Team Loco Libre, I like that a lot bigkat. The wait painful, the payoff is great. I'm waiting on my 50° UQ as well I type this. You won't be disappointed.

I thought it felt a little Twilighty at first but it's growing on me as well.

In other news, after deciding I needed more space in my pack for some longer hikes this summer, the cfo gave the OK to upgrade to the Habanero underquilt. I love my wife.
