Made some sit/stand pads. Great for under the hammock.
Sold one of them, but may make a few more since I have scraps and a lot of reflectix left.
16" x 36" dimensions.

Can reflectix be used for a solar stove?
You reach in under the top layer grab what you need. Don't lift the whole top up
I am a total vapor barrier believer. Many, many years ago in Scouts (I'm 64) I was able to wear a pair of extremely thin dress socks under a bread bag wrapped in aluminum then wool socks around my feet when the winter cold far exceeded the quality of our boots. Feet did not sweat since it was really too cold for sweating.
Three years ago I tried to make mylar breath by putting a needle every 1/8th of an inch. Quite easy to do; just partially unfold the brand new mylar blanket and needle punch as many layers at a time as your THREADLESS injector machine will do. Still got condensation wet.
Hypothetically, I might, cough, cough, have been provided a Beta test sample of a reflective material that had many 10's of thousands of holes per square inch. Hypothetically, I might not have had any condensation when I used it.
Then I learned about Stephenson's Warmlite, bought the VB fuzzy and very comfortable VB jacket and then one of their super "Warm Lite sleeping system".
I get cold feet also the coldest it got on Dallas this winter was around 10 above zero. I wore one pair very heavy wool socks, Army wool boot liners, Reflect sole inserts and Down booties. THis was intentionally too much on my feet.I found that the vapor barrier shirt told me when I was getting warm before my feet began to sweat. I was sleeping in moderate outdoor clothes for about 30-40 degrees wrapped in a 'Blizzard Survival" blanket also as a test.
Right now I am trying to figure how to use a "Blizzard Survival" blanket as a top quilt suspended midway between me and the bottom of the Clark Nx-250 winter cover and then safely solve the condensation problem.

Paul

Bless all of those who go voluntarily into Harm's Way on our behalf, whether they wear Blue, Red or Camo, and all of those who wait for them each night not knowing if.....
I love this stuff. I eat with it, drink with it, sleep with it, sit on it.... and keep the sun from destroying my dashboard too!
I make gear... lots and lots of gear.
