Hanging my pack from hammock suspension Whoopie Sling?

I'm thinking of using a carabiner to hang my backpack from my Whoopie Sling, attaching it near the foot end of my hammock and under my tarp?
    Problems?

Rather than using a carabiner, I steal a tip from dejoha and use a stick across my continuous loop. http://theultimatehang.com/2013/07/s...ntinuous-loop/

Works for me. I use a soft shackle.
I'm still looking for two perfect trees.

I hang it from the head end to help keep the foot end higher.

I use a multi buckle and the cl at the head end of my hammock, or sometimes i use my gear sling.
