You're too kind. I'm just standing on the shoulders of all the generous people here who know far more about hammock camping than I do.

If you go down 202 where you can see Sipsey river then take a left up Feather Hawk branch You should be able to take a old logging road all the way to the falls. That's as far as you can go. I'll try to add picture tomorrow

That's more or less the way I went, walking upstream on Feather Hawk Creek. Maybe I didn't go far enough, though there were a lot of campsites at the spot where I stopped.

I look forward to a picture to see if it looks familiar.

Hogs, frogs, and waterfalls... looked like a good time. You're a goofball (that's a compliment).

    Beautiful place, thanks for sharing.

image.jpg we're standing under the big bluff shelter and the waterfall is in the background. Looks like we left some lucky campers lots of firewood. This was a few years back and I remember only two trees at the shelter to hang. I camped down in the old roadbed. image.jpg we tried to get the truck too.

Yep, I definitely didn't go quite far enough upstream. Now I know what to look for next time.
    Cheers.
