    1) Warbonnet BlackBird 1.7 Double Layer. Pretty much the most comfortable hammock I've ever slept in.

    2) ULA Catalyst. I got mine this year not too long before the Winter Hang back in January. I love this pack!

    3) Caldea Keg. Had it more than a year, but it just rocks that much that I still love it.

    This is too hard I have lots a nice gear already,practicaly all would be contenders and I also dream lots about the gear I'd like to own and cant really justify purchasing right now.So three ... its too small a number.however I do think the ever evolving creativity and smart ideas this great website and its patrons put forward has to be number one on my list.

    Hehe - well, I hope she's talking about you b/c I'm only in NC for another 4 days! It's gonna be 1*F at the AF Academy this week and I'm gonna miss it, though!

    But I wonder if I can convince the AF to send me to Virginia sometime around the Winter Hang next year...we could ALL hike together then.

    here are mine

    1. JRB 11x10 cat tarp (this tarp rocks...my fav piece of gear)
    2. North Face 550 down vest(got this on sale for $50 very warm)
    3. Dutch clips(got these about a month ago and love them...)
    4. Petzl Tikka Plus(got this in the spring and is the best headlamp i ever used)
    5. JetBoil PCS(i have about 20 stoves but i always wanted one and now i have one...and it works great..and a good change of pace stove)

    Other gear that would be in here but i got last year would be

    JRB Hudson River Quilt
    REI Flash UL 50
    MBD Mini Atomic
    Kelly Kettle
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
