Goodness. Glad he's okay (relatively). That is the suck.
Get well, dude!

Give me more darkness said the blind man,
Give me more folly said the fool,
Give me stone silence said the deaf man,
I didn't believe Sunday School.

Has anyone heard from Jeremy? Any updates on how he's doing?
[QUOTE=Shug;1626906]With CarolinaBackpackers approval here is my video footage of his ordeal in the Gorge.
I think the video says it all.
He is now a Legend of the Gorge.

Thanks Shug and a big shout out for all of the Gorge Rats there that day. The team is called (NC HART) North Carolina Helicopter and Aquatic Rescue Team who train and work with local Emergency responders for such incidents as this. https://www.nccrimecontrol.org/Index...,000487,001721
You all did an amazing job keeping Jeremy stable and working with the first responders. A lot harder than one would think. I will pass your video along to Burke EM and the NC HART team. Hope you got some good video to share from the foothills trail. Jeremy get well soon!!!!
I watched Shug's video on it, terrible fall. Prayers going out for him.

I too watched Shug's video this evening. Thank God Jeremy is alive after that fall. Prayers going his way for a full recovery.

thank the Lord you survived CBP. Prayers sent for a speedy recovery.
If you're gonna fall down a mountain, its a good thing to have good friends with you. Heck of a deal. Reminds us all, as Phil Esterhaus said, "Be careful out there." Thanks to our HF boys for their good work, and get better Jeremy.

WOW, thanks for the update and video Shug. Get well CBP, more prayers for you and your rescuers.
