I have had none... the same thing has me skeptical. I'm kinda expecting to find condensation at some time, but I have seen none yet.

I anticipated condensation in my vest with sleeves, so I attached the sleeves only at the top of the vest... so I would have completely open arm pits. Also, I did not wear it against my skin. A week ago I first used the vest sitting in the cold rain. This weekend, I was in cold, dry weather. Friday night, hiking in the cold, when I got overheated I did not notice any condensation. Still, I would expect it, and would make any garment with good venting so you don't overheat.

I was never aware of any dampness, coolness or discomfort of any kind while wearing the vest. It was surprising how it was like it wasn't there, no clamminess, no cold spots, just even warmth. When I took the vest off, the cold hit me immediately.

    That's impressive.

Why did you have to fix the TQs for them? Why couldn't they adjust the TQ themselves?

...not just Insultex, but Insultex with Wiggy's insulation. Kinda like Insultex with a poncho liner.

They don't have much experience, that's all... they are 11 year olds!

I told them to call for me if they needed help. The last thing I wanted was for them to be cold, when they could be warm.

I made a 'WTQ' yesterday as I confined myself to the house. I used ripstop for the inner and outer shell with 4oz Primaloft sandwiched between 2 layers of Insultex. I hope to test tonight.

Mac, maybe it's time to start an Insultex Application thread to funnel the vest, quilts etc into one place?
