I know how ya'll like videos so I thought I would share the video I made of our latest backpacking trip. Not too much report, just nice weather and nice views. I highly recommend Bryant Ridge Shelter if you are in the area.
BTW, right after we night-hiked 3 miles of wet rocks to the shelter and I did my only self-interview in the video, about 10 guys showed up at the shelter with coolers and all. Apparently you can park about 1/10 mile from the shelter. They weren't even backpacking in the area, they were just crashing because they knew it was close to the road. What a buzz kill.
According to one car camper, coolers are air tight so there is no risk of a bear smelling its contents. Its totally safe to sleep with a cooler on the floor inside the shelter! Apparently they have never seen videos on you tube.
