    Rigging Bag

Thanks to HF, I've been blessed with an accretion of "stuff" (I can't even write the word, w/o thinking of George Carlin)...webbing, Amsteel, 'biners, Figure 9s, etc.

One ziploc bag became two, then three, and so on. I had my eye on one of those groovy canvas totes that Uncle LL Bean offers, but I have no children to sell, so I resorted to an old book bag.

Then today, in the WM checkout line, I had a Urethra! moment when I spied those reusable blue shopping bags. $.50. Perfect.

It doesn't have the cachet of the LLB model, but then, neither do I.

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

"Stuff" by George Carlin so describes myself & my family.

I have to say you must be a beginner collecting hammock stuff my "extra" stuff doesn't fit in a 30" x 24" x 24" crate. SO, you should likely get a larger storage thingy, because the illness only gets worse as it progresses, IE; the more you get, the more you will want.
Now, where did I put my check book?

My stuff is on a 18x36 4-tier shelf and it's not enough space, and that's not including my fabric/ insulation stash. That’s is a 30gal tote and it’s now overflowing since my recent Insultex purchase.

Oh, I have stuff, believe me. A barn, a garage, and a boat/tractor shed overfloweth.

The hammock stuff is but a small part of it. My rigging bag is just a way of taking some of it along on my misadventures.

I use several Rubbermaid plastic bins. One has the gear that I really use...the others hold the stuff that I bought and can't understand why.
