Well, apparently, that was my trip report. I was really looking forward to writing a great trip report, too. I think I very well may try for this one again in the fall. We'll see how it goes.

It would be interesting to see a couple of photos of the damage.

Just to make sure I am understanding you right, it ripped in the side seam where the 2 pieces of fabric meet and not the edge seam?

I try to inspect my hammock every couple of uses. I have noticed issues in my DIY hammocks that way. Usually caused by user error on my end.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

He he....your hammock. I've experienced three shoulder dislocations from whitewater kayaking. I have enough pics of bad shoulders.....thank you very much.

Sorry to hear the bad news. That is something that should never happen to anyone. Hopefully they will replace your hammock.

Be glad you were not hanging over a ravine, or on the edge of a mountain. I hope your shoulder feels better.

glad you didn't crack anything. & sorry that you wont be able to make it to hot springs.

We will miss you, Hooch. Take care of that shoulder and let us know what Eno does about the hammock.
