Does this get rid of the CBS (Cold B*** Syndrome)? I have used static guard dryer sheets with fleece pullovers, they seem to help a lot.

How strong is the polyester? Any guess as to weight limits/capacity?

This should be plenty strong for a hammock. The issues with a 1.7 or even 1.9oz nylon if you are in the 220 range isn't strength as much as it is elasticity. The hammock body will pinch you more if it stretches under your weight. Polyester doesn't stretch as much as nylon.
