Could someone recommend a underquilt for a Hennessy expedition classic hammock? By classic I mean, you enter the hammock from the bottom. Any info would be greatly appreciate. Thanks

JRB Nest. Made for the Hennessey and will fit like a glove. I use it all year long.

The above suggestions are very good choices. You can get quality bottom insulation as well as save yourself some $$ by getting the Hennessy Super Shelter for $100 and the top cover for an additional $20. Read some of the posts on HF Hennessy Hammock forum for unbiased reviews. There is a small learning curve for cold weather condensation compensation. Note that one member used his system into the -20F range (he was camping with Shug of course:>).
I used a pad in my HH classic for years, but got a SS early this year and have been very impressed. For me it works best above 70F and I've used in into the teens with easy to add supplemental insulation.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely look into the UQ you all mentioned. Thanks again.
Oldpapy, I see they offer two SS, #1 & #2. Do you know what the difference is between the two?
#1 is for EXPEDITION, BACKPACKER, HYPERLITE, and EVADER Classic models only.
#2 is for EXPLORER ULTRALITE, EXPLORER DELUXE and SURVIVOR CLASSIC MODELS ONLY.
So you would get the 'SuperShelter 4-Season Insulation System # 1 Classic' for your Expedition.
Also worth considering as you weigh your options - the HH SS only works for the HH hammocks. The JRB and Potomac will work on a HH or a gathered end.
Please let us know what you decide and why.

As an aside recommendation, you might consider adding a zipper to your classic enter from the bottom hammock.
The Zipper Queen will put a professional grade side entry zipper on your hammock for $35.

I still use my bottom entry but love the openness of being able to roll back the bug netting in the morning.
I also have a Warbonnet XLC but favor my Hennessey.

I'm thinking I might go with the HH SS for mainly one reason, the cost. It's on sell right now for 99.00 and I will only be using it in the summer and early fall.
Carl, I've already been thinking about the zipper mod. I think it would make things a little easier to get in and out of, especially at night when nature calls.
I have an old HH Exped with the 2QZQ zipper mod. I've used TeWa Breeze, HG Incubator 20, a DIY PLUQ, and a pad over the years (not all at the same time). The bottom entry isn't too much of an issue regardless of which you choose if you don't mind grabbing your suspension through the fabric of the hammock to snap it back over. That said, highly recommend getting the 2QZQ mod. It was money well spent.
