Ok cooloz91, so did some negotiating at work, am doing a double Friday and heading out first thing Friday morning , am excited about doing hidden pond short by myself for the first time., am hoping to be on the trail by 9am, see you guys !

At Summer's Last Gasp last Sept. Craigc had his ultralite flyrod and I my redneck tenkara. Got into a few smaller largemouth and bream, though one of his was close to 2 #s. Lots of shoreline weeds. The sponge crickets were the best baits.Originally Posted by Jake2c

finally done pissing around and am leaving for the pond!! Part of the thrill of these events is indulging in my last minute ways. I've always been that way. I should get to camp around 3 or 4 PM. Looking forward to seeing some of my hammock buddies again. Gonna miss (and talk about) the heat wussies like Old Dag and Hanginyak. You should come out and cleanse your sweat glands.
Life scout, we've been missing crossing paths for quite a while. Gonna fix that today!!
