Is anyone interested in hanging out over the New Years Weekend, starting Thurs Dec 31 through Jan 2nd (Sat) or 3rd (Sun)?
I got permission from a coworker who has land about 35 miles west of Madison to hang in a somewhat secluded valley ravine (near Gov Dodge State Park).
It would be a very short hike from a road, and depending on snow you could use snowshoes (probably not required unless we get another good dump. Yes, Yes)

I was thinking, if no one showed up, that I might relocate it to the Black River State Forest (90 min north of Madison) so Shug wouldn't have to drive as far.

Wow. Wish I could make this one. Nice and close. Unfortunately, in regards to this trip, I have my boys up from their Mom's that week. Another time for sure.

go figure a hang in my backyard and i'm out of town for this, i am really teed off, not at you all, just the timing and my big mouth for ok'ing a trip to nj, but keeping the wife happy lets me get that closer to a crowsnest uq and a new ula pack!!!
