    True. That being said, mine get near constant use & have been in place for almost 2 years. So a minimum of at least 500 uses, & sometimes the tarp is left up all day, so lets say a minimum of 3 weeks in the sun. As I usually am under heavy shade, (& a lot of times setup after dark, take down before sunrise) maybe that makes a diff. I am surprised they have lasted so long.

    Nice video treenester. I use to take scouts to that very spot. We weathered a tornado that came up river there one night about 30 years ago and I was in a hammock.

    What kinda of webbing are you hanging from?
    It's a hollow-braid camo webbing I got from a bait store. Prolly a little heavy for what I need. Hope to start on a new tarp soon. Got some more of the $1.50/yd Wally World rip-stop just waitin to be sewn.
