Hey! They are 36" between, 29" from ridgeline, 30" from the seam on the doors. I played around a bunch with grip clips and these spots for me were best for snow shedding and breakfast from the hammock space and head and foot space.Originally Posted by Mrprez

Teriffic! I like the commitment!!! Yes ..play with location and look at it in and out a lot.Great job Shug!!!! I'm going to try and do something similar to my JRB 11'x10' Cat Tarp. I bought some Grip Clips to play around with the location of the pull-outs before committing myself by sewing them in permanently.
I was planning to do octagons when I sew them on permanently (because they're easier than a circle); but I saw your comment about circles. Why are circles preferred? Is it just aesthetics or is there some functional difference?

As to circles .. I remember reading that the forces in the substrates caused the fids to migrate the bearing of the obtuse thread locals to waft!
Trying to sound smart ... sounds more smart alec. The circles pull the forces mo' better ... I read that.
Octagons should be just fine. The math guys could explain better. I just know that my circles have always worked.
