I'm new to the forum and to hammock camping and understand that many noobs may have posted before this same question,
but.......Can I just create a loop out of my existing (stock) Hennessy backpacker hammock "string" and cut off the excess rather than pulling it all out and installing a continuous loop? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums from Marietta GA. In the vendors section of the forum there is a Hennessey specific section and it might be helpful to post your question there. I'm not personally familiar with them. Happy hanging!
