A collapsible line like zing it will work well as the prussic but one is better off with a spliced loop than a knot for the prussic.
I can't argue with that. Even from my limited experience, I can tell that friction type knots work better with smaller cord on larger. Of course what zing-it does have going for it is lightweight, compact, strong, durable, splice-able and doesn't absorb water. Then there is also the fact that more than just a few of us have invested in bling that pretty much revolves around the stuff. So for me, I continue my quest to find a way to make it work, but better than with friction knots. If the mini-ucr doesn't work I may wind up resorting to a larger diameter crl.

On a different tarp suspension Redoleary made a video with UCR on each end of tarp. It looked great. While a whoopie sling can jam if used to hang a tight tarp line, I think a UCR does not jam.

I use a 2mm polyester hollow polyester line with a dyneema core. Extremely little stretch, but very grippy and strong. This stuff specifically:

And as Phantom Grappler said: UCR's are pretty impossible to jam. They've never under tension from the free end (unlike whoopies), so you can easily loosen them by simply sliding.

I don't know if this is considered taboo since I just posted this photo in massis tato thread. I'll put it here just to visually clarify what I'm doing. Details are in the other thread.

Cool thanks! I think I may try just one more rap on the prussic first and if that doesn't suffice I will try this. I like the idea of using lighter less bulky line comparable to zing it.
