This is my 3 month old PKS Scorpion made at the school where Dave Canterbury teaches. Always stored in the box and oiled with mineral oil after use. There is a small nick in the blade where I ran it into a rock by accident. It still cuts great and is easy to sharpen. Comes with leather sheath.

I paid $147 shipped for it new.

    Specs:

    OAL: 9 inches
    Blade: 4 1/4 inches - Blued
Handle Material: Black Micarta with Red trace
    Grind: Scandi
    Weight: 6.7 oz
Knife Manufacturer: PKS - Pathfinder Knife Shop in Indianapolis, IN
    LIFETIME WARRANTY on the Blade*

Is the kind of splotchy finish on the blade just the mineral oil or is that actually the bluing?? Why are you parting with it (buyer's remorse, etc)? I had a Condor Bushlore but that blade was just way, way too thick. This would be a much more suitable bushcraft knife.

    Aren't they both 1/8" thick?

I had one of the pre-2011 models that was just shy of 1/4" thick. It was more of a hand-axe. I re-gifted it at the FL Hang 2 years ago. I didn't realize they fixed that issue.

It does have gun blue on it but there is also a coat of mineral oil. I can remove the oil and take more pictures if you'd like.

This is a great bushcraft blade and I'm teetering on keeping it. I had the opportunity to get a great deal on a custom blade and I would like to put this towards it.

    Thanks!

Did you happen to put a convex edge on that Bushlore?
