    SLD Trail Lair

Well this is my second SLD hammock. I also have a tree runner dl in 1.9 multi cam. I wanted a hammock with a intigrated bug net. So I decided to get the trail lair. I ordered it in 1.6 hyperD xl. I placed my order on Thursday l, and my hammock came on Monday. Well it wasn't what I was expecting, it was so much more. The fabric is much softer feeling than my other hammock. The extra width was exactly what I needed. I am 6'3" and 300 lbs and I never felt I could get a good diagonal lay, and always battled a calf ridge. Not no more. Best hammock purchase to date. I was wanting differant colors than Jared had in stock, but didn't want to wait. Well I glad I went with what I did. I love the color. There is nothing I would change about this hammock. image.jpgimage.jpg

Nice looking hammock. Does the Trail Lair have a specific lay direction? Or can you do either I don't see the lay direction as a option when ordering.

Sweet looking hammock! I sold mine (made with 1.6 oz fabric, gray) about 6 months ago and had Jared make me a 10' single layer version out of 1.0 Hexon in dark olive. Very, very comfortable. I did add the interior pocket option and keep it at the foot end to toss my socks etc in. I added some reflective line to the zipper pulls to make them stand out...note, when you zip it up, go slow because it's easy to catch the fabric in the zipper. Enjoy your new addition to the family

I understand that, I was asking if yours particularly is a single or a double. Thanks!
