I was thinking as I sipped on my morning java, does any one have a camp coffee pot? With these cooler mornings it would sure be appreciated.

I have a large (like, 22 cup) coffeepot, though it doesn't have the percolator insert or anything like that...but it's good for making large quantities of hot water. I'll bring it along, as well as a single-burner butane stove.
Woohoo!!! Just got a package from PapaSmurf at Dream Hammocks. They are unable to attend but sent two beautiful demo hammocks for us to check out.
First is last years hit the Sparrow. Second is his brand new Raven. I'm really liking this for its simplicity but awesomeness.
We will set up a hammock tour for Saturday for folks to check ouf all the cool hammock setups we each have. Let me know when we all get there if you would like to be included on the tour.

Definitely sign me up for touring the dream hammocks. I've basically got an order in mind for one of my own but I've been holding off on ordering until after this trip so that I would have 2 recent trips under my belt before ordering (I did go on my early October trip and will upload a trip report once I've finished editing the video I shot). I have a few customization questions before I place an order so seeing one in person ought to help that decision process.
I can't wait to check out the raven. I'm not sure how worthy my stuff would be of a tour, but I'll have a winter tarp I just finished making and my hexon 1.0 hammock. Regardless, if I'm not napping in them, it's always an open house.

Out of curiosity, how many people are going to want chili? I'm making my first batch this weekend, but will need to visit the grocery store in order to make the rest. I've never cooked for this many people before so I don't want to under or over prepare.
Chili for lunch, count me in.
You can trust that there will be no beans left behind with this group. If you're looking for numbers, check the spread sheet on the first page to get a rough idea.
Also, if you're planning on your chili being part of the Saturday night dinner, then keep in mind there will be other dishes to be eaten.
We did it buffet style last year, and I think most of the food was picked over.

I believe Brad was bringing chili for lunch. (From the spread sheet). Don't feel like you necessarily are feeding all 36. I know we are making mac n cheese to go with it and others will be likely add in whether they are on the sheet or not. Also some may not want to do the communal meal for all meals. But as Uphill stated whatever you make will not go to waste. We do love the vittles..
