    Epic hang in Yosemite

Just got back from a 6-day/5-night backpack through Yosemite starting at Tuolumne Meadows. Included Cloud's Rest, etc. Had an epic hanging spot at Cathedral Lakes, just a few feet from the water:

If you are interested in the hammock I was using, you can see the Initial Review on the BGT site here.

If you are interested in the video of the trip (sorry, no hammock pics!) you can find it here:

BEAUTIFUL! Man that voice. You must be a professional narrator. I really like the way you marked the trail on the map using animation. How did you do that? What was the distance hiked each day? That video from the top of that mountain was taking my breath away. I would have had to stay behind as those heights scare me to no end. Thanks for sharing.

That sure did look spectacular! Nice filming there too. But who could film anything bad out there. Loved the snow/iceball tossing.

Short, sweet & spectacular...just the way I like 'em. Enjoyed the shenanigans too.
Mountain views are good for the soul....& getting to them is good for my waistline.

Thanks, but no I have just been a computer geek all my life. The animated map was done with Mac Keynote, pretty easy. We hiked about 7 miles per day, a fairly relaxed pace.

Thanks for the feedback! I try to keep my videos down to about 5 minutes, but it's not easy.

It is a beautiful place, but it's being loved to death. There are too many people there for my taste.

It was one of the better groups I've hiked with. Everyone got along well, which doesn't always happen.
