    I'm in!
Well at least for one night.
The 15th however is not very convenient for me, since its my boy's first Boyscout sleepover.
I guess I'll just play it by ear.

Ok. It looks by the poll that either the 8th or the 15th is the most popular. I see I should have closed the poll sooner so we're not voting still after the first date available (live and learn).

We need to put this on the calendar soon! In that light, we should probably concentrate on the most popular 2 dates, the weekend of the 8th or the weekend of the 15th. Which will it be? I'm still flexible at this point.

We're taking less popular weekend of the 22nd out of the running. We may have to flip a coin to see which date if it starts getting to be too late for planning.

NCPatrick, why don't you see how many people could go with either of the remaining choices, like me? Perhaps a quick poll for one date, the other date, or either date?

You forgot the "either date" choice!

Sorry, just thought either/or is what's required. Good suggestion!

I'm going to delete the other poll and go with the choices here. Too many polls to keep track of and this one will work fine. I've requested that the other poll be deleted. If it becomes a problem later we can deal with it.

Keep in mind that the weekend of the 15th is extended for some folks by the MLK Day holiday on the 18th.

I don't hang during cool weather yet, but if you need any information on the Uwharries let me know. I've hiked the Uwharrie Trail from north to south the last four years during February or March and have probably slept two weeks in Birkhead. There are lots of options depending on the trip you're looking for.

I would recommend the Spencer Creek area as a compromise. Hikers can walk in 2.1 miles from the Highway 109 junction and others can walk the couple hundred yards from Morris Mtn.
