    WBRR UQ comparison

I have 2 WBRR's and only one UQ. I have the full length winter lynx which I love. I have seen posts about the Ambush from UGQ, as well as posts from Lynx owners but very few posts from someone who owns or has significant "hang time" with both. I am looking to buy my second UQ and am torn between another full length winter lynx or a 0deg Ambush. Any thoughts are welcome.

I'm no help on the lynx since I just picked one up and haven't had a chance to use it yet. I do have the UGQ 0° and it's awesomesauce. I got the 3 season lynx to have a bit smaller package to use for most of the year down here.

Thanks bog01. I'm leaning toward the Ambush if for nothing but the color selection.

Another thought... I think the lynx are in stock, but there's a bit of a wait on the ambush (definitely worth the wait time for sure).

also interested in knowing. just bought a RR and thinks it's awesome. i've been going back and forth between the two quilts and just can't decide! is the ventable foot end of the ambush worth having?

I had both. They felt differn, both wer a great fit, Quality wise equal I think. Although I felt the warbonnet was sturdier.
The choice of color will be my choice when I buy a replacement UQ.

These are under quilts that are being discussed here. No foot ends to be vented on the UQ.

The attachment points at the foot end of the Ambush can be loosened to allow for some venting.

Ah yes. Had a footbox in my mind when I read his description. I can attest this option would be a good one to have in warmer weather as I have to hang a corner off my Lynx. To keep it from dragging the ground I use a small bungee so this option is nice to have if you warm weather camp.

The small bungee is a great idea. I just got my full length winter lynx in time for the 100deg days here in NY. Im going to need a lot of bungee!!
