I need more info on the 'hammock sock'...i'm seeing in my mind a salt cured country ham inside cheese cloth? is this close? If the sock is Pertex then wow what a system that would be! Is anyone making these? If so for which hammocks? I've got my mouse over the PayPal button even as I type!

that would be a new product...I didn't see that on the website?

I know that arrowhead makes a top cover (only covers the top Vs a sock that slides over top and bottom)

Maybe Santa brought Brandon a new prototype!

This is my BB Cover and under cover

I made this the week I got my BB. The cover only covers the bug net attached with velcro and the bottom cover attaches with velcro to the too cover is needed.

So the ideah of the ripstop undercover or some sort of weather protection shiled underneath the hammock is,

    1) Protects your underquilt from outside moisture, rain, snow that may blow underneath your tarp etc. keeps it dry.
    2) Adds 5-10 degrees of warmth depending on material.

I like the sound of this, seems easy enough to make as well, Nice pic's mule.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
