Talking Received my Bearded Hanger Circle Beard today.

I was looking for a casual, take anywhere, comfortable hammock I could toss in a small pack for day hikes, lounging around and general purpose hangin' and saw Michael was having an Independence Day sale earlier this month. The 2.2 hex circle beard was quickly my choice.
I got it in the mail today nicely packaged with a friendly note on the packing slip apologizing for "the delay". What delay?! I got a custom hammock in 2 1/2 weeks! Can't complain about that!
It's an 11' 2.2 hex 70 in charcoal grey and I chose moroccan blue stitching and blue whoopies. I also ordered the knotty mod. He included straps and toggles as part of the package as well. Nice!
I ran out back and strung it up right away. It's my first hammock with whoopies so it took me an extra several minutes to figure out the right spot to make my marlin spike, but once I got that figured out it was super easy.
The hammock looks great! Everything was as I ordered and the quality of the stitching and finish of it all is top notch!! I really like the contrast of the moroccan blue and blue whoopies against the grey! I sat in it, threw my legs up and sprawled out right away. Plenty of room for stretching out perfectly flat. No calf ridge!! That's awesome. A quick tug of the knotty mod at the foot end took care of the little bit of fabric flop and made a bit of a foot box in just the right spot. My first knotty mod hammock I'll actually be using and I'm sold on it! I'm going to have some good days ahead hangin' around in this thing. I've renamed it "Ol' Blue Beard" here's some pics.....

Awesome. It's always great to try out that new hammock smell in your own backyard hood. Congrats to you.

And that's a nice touch with the blue stitching.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Thanks folks! It's a very comfortable hammock. The pics really don't do the stitching justice. That moracaan blue really pops in the sun!
