Quite true. I actually like to use the double stitch to 'frame' a proper straight stitch. I do a lot of decorative stitches with this machine.

Here is a 221 that I picked up a few weeks ago for $25. I also purchased a 500 with a nice desk as well. She was selling three machines for a deceased relative and did not care about them. It's not perfect but for $25 I think it's a bargain.
The quilters would probably pay you a couple of hundred for the 221.

i can choose one or both,but my question is which one will be best for my crafting of gear?i dont know how to use or anything about these machines except that they havent been used much.they seem kinda fancy compared to other machines i been lookn at.

i did my research and one will actually do letters and numbers with a cartrage that came with it. i have 2 new tools,well i gotta share with the wife but still,happy happy joy joy on my good furtune.both units are like new.i bought a box of bandaids and a redbull and got pandora rolln in some tunes,its going to be a fun night.

I shared this machine a while back but it needed a base to run. I made this one and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
Here is a new machine as well, it was my mothers 221.
