    Here's mine.

It's an Elna Super 62C. Runs like a Swiss watch, since it's in fact, Swiss made.

    Acer
It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Formerly known as Acercanto, my trail name is MacGuyver to some, and Pucker Factor to others.

Either the manufacturer, or Mr Glenn, who refurbished the machine, put those marks there. It helps remind me to oil it often!

No they are just run of the mill stock standard ones. I use them all the time. I was stitching some 10 oz canvas for a pack and felt safer with them on i must say

Hitch, I do the same thing, safety glasses!!!
<<---I didn't want to look like this guy.
Even just regular hammock making and thread injecting, I feel safer knowing my eyes are protected.

My eyes are protected by (and the eye of the needle seen only with) my progressive glasses, made of PPG Trivex, the hardest, lightest lens material known to man!

I must say Mac, the motor on your gear maker is most impressive. I'm definitely having machine envy!

You'd be less envious if you had to pay for it!

That's the same machine that I am using. A gift for my wife from her mother when she graduated from college in 1970.
However, I don't touch the new Bernia machine.
