lOVE THE FLEA BAG Hammock. My poor dog sleeps under me on a piece of Tyvek. She is getting along in years, I think the FleaBag Hammock might be what she needs to keep me Hanging.

What does your K9 weigh? I have thought about building a hammock, just not sure of what type of fabric to use, let alone the suspension. My little girl is between 100 and 105 about the size of a small bear or so people report. My poor dog has to pack my gear along with hers, but that seems to be fine with her.

Great job and definite food for thought.

any chance you could shoot a video showing more detail of the suspension you used and how the spreader bars interface with the hammock?

My dog weighs about 45lbs. I'm sure his hammock could handle more but it's untested in its final state. While I was building it, I sat in it a few times with no problems.

Fantastic! Thanks for the detailed video. I had tried to make a bridge for my dog and used some similar ideas, but yours has come out much better than my attempts.
