Question Tutorial for UCR adjustable ridgeline?

It could be I'm being dense, but I can't seem to find a tutorial for how to make a UCR adjustable ridgeline, here or on YouTube. I could probably figure it out from the UCR tutorials, but that leaves out adjustable ridgeline specifics -- starting length, measurements, good cord to use.

    Help please?

It's the exact same as making a UCR suspension. You just need to add the 2 lengths (short and long) so that the final min-max will give you the adjustability you are looking for. Obviously you would not need to use Amsteel, you could use zing it or utility cord. Either would work (it just needs to be a single braid line). Basically like the instructions in the video by Xtrakker...

Thanks! You answered one question, and I think the video confirms it (about 1:20 in) -- I can make one with Zing-It, and there's no need to use a smaller diameter line for the constrictor? Thought I had read somewhere on here that the constrictor should be smaller diameter.

Not sure what you mean with this part...? It looks like the constrictor section would just slide along the ridgeline, and provide a movable attachment point for one end of the hammock... The max length would be the ridgeline length, plus the 3" or so of the loop hanging off the constrictor?

Also wondering about the proper length of the bury, say for 1.75mm Zing-It.

Regarding the constrictor length. this UCR is not going to be used to hang from, so the bury length is not as critical. For a UCR used for hanging using 7/64 AS... It's 12 in or so. For a ridge line? I would feel comfortable with half that or even less.

What I meant about the lengths is that the long piece And the short piece should be sized (including loops) to give you the max length that you expect it to adjust to.
