Completely subjective. Every person is different. Some people love gathered ends with nets, some love plain gathered ends, some love bridge hammocks. As Intimidator said, it depends how comfortable YOU find it. I find the WBRR to be more comfortable to me than the BB. Personally, I have not tried my WBRR without a pad, because I can not imagine it being more comfortable.
