    Wrinkles on quilt

I know this may end up being a dumb question and it is totally cosmetic - but I let a buddy borrow my UQ (JRB Greylock 3) and it is super wrinkled now...

This is entirely cosmetic but I wondered if there is a safe method to get the wrinkles out? Obviously not iron it lol, but maybe hang it in the bathroom during a hot shower?

This is such a lame question it probably just makes me sound anal but....well....I am kinda

How long did he have it? Looks like it was in a compressed stuff sack to long. Hang it up somewhere and let it relax, should get rid of most wrinkles.

So he used it on a Saturday to Sunday - packed up on Sunday in a 20L dry bag - and returned it 24 hours later

I let it lay open now for 3 days and this is the state of it....

I wouldn't advise hanging it in the bathroom while showering..it will put a lot of moisture in it..like the previous comments suggested..just shake it and hang it up and the wrinkles will fall out.

This is very normal and typical and happens if it's in the stuff sack for 10 minutes or 3 days. Just take it out of the stuff sack when you get it home and store it uncompressed and it will return to normal in a few days. This is simply how this material reacts to being stuffed.

That's how mine looks most of the time, especially right out of the stuff sack. Strip the suspension out of it and throw it in the dyer on the lowest setting with a few tennis balls. That should loft it back up nicely. That's what I do after damp or wet trips, and after every winter trip.

I'll let em sit a bit longer and see how it goes first - I think it did sit in the dry bag all compacted a bit longer than I usually do - as soon as I get home I unpack - hang up for a couple days - then store back in the clear bag they came in - this time I think it may have pushed closer to 48 hours stuffed - the loft was lost some - it seems to be getting better

Yea, this down is more resilient than one would expect from such a light product.

Lowest setting on dryer for very short period of time did the trick

I've used these quilts several times and never leave them packed consistently - makes me paranoid lol
