    Lazy tarp

Ever just hiked until just enough daylight to get a good hang and just draped your tarp over your hammock because you're to tired to throw a proper rigging? Like a glorified bivy hang?

I did once. Ended up staking it out at around 3 in the AM. Got a bit stuffy.

No I haven't but I have hiked till dark and gone tarpless many times. It's always a risk but I've only been burnt once with a major down pour.

No, but I have been too tired to put up the tarp in good weather. I just don't recommend that when there's a full moon!

So it's not generally a bad thing to just drape yourself with some weather protection, but expect some stuffiness. Not saying I've ever would do that, but a friend would. . . .
