    Cat cut wind shield

Well this is an all dutch products hammock
The wind shield, is like a cat cut wing style,
Clip on clip off, can be used with or without the full zipped bugnet.
    Argon 90 embossed
    Weighs almost nothing.
Just enough wind block but also ventilation where you need it most
This is just a sneak peak will take properly pitched taught pics when the thunder stops

Very Interesting. Looking forward to seeing some of those taught pics. Like the cat cuts on this.

Makes me think their might be a market for those kids with enos in the park cuddling together. I have hiked by a few that could have used a lid.
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.

I like this idea a lot, especially since I like to install grosgrain side tie-outs on my DIY netless hammocks in the same approximate locations as the vertices of your wind shield. Well done, once again...

Mate we obviously think alike, that is pretty much spot on what I have planned, you beat me too it. As you know the nets on my hammocks are cut with a cat cut so it should fit quite well. How does the the embossed 90 look?

well its very very subtle, in some light you cant see it at all, but in sun light it stands out. I like it would be great on a quilt, adds a little something

If i did an underquilt protector i would use embossed too

I made a pattern for the wind shield, so easy to make more and adjust. Cant decide if i will put a bit of shock cord on the side anchors of the wind shield or not, i need to have a lie in it and see how it feels. Its fun to use without the bug net, good for peeping
Might make a pattern for the bug netting at some point.

Ok cool I should get some embossed 90 to try.

I made a pattern for the netting which makes it much easier for future builds, and I will just use that for the cover. I think the shock cord would be a good addition. A guy in NZ made a similar cover for one of my hammocks but with a heavier night desert camo material, and he said it made quite a bit of difference.
