As others have said, great report and superb photos. I really enjoyed seeing your country.

Moose flies - sounds serious. We only rate horse flies where I live, and I hate them.

Thank you all Glad to hear that you like the article and photos

Moose flies is the exact translation from finnish Hirvikärpänen , but i think it is known as Deer Ked.

Next weekend we have a hammock meeting at the Nuuksio National Park, and this moment we have 25 people coming there! 49 are unsure.... lot's of hangers.

Event name doesn't probably work in english, playing with the words : Puista riippuvaiset -> dependent on trees (or something...)

But photos and report will follow

    Nice report Marko!
Being a half Finn, I know the landscape you've been enjoying. Would have loved to bee on your hang this weekend, but the other half of me is at home in Norway.

I love the pun in your hang name.
For those of you not fluent in Finnish, the name "puista riippuvaiset" is words playing on dependency of trees and hanging off trees. A word play worthy a hammocker.

Enjoy your weekend! I'm sure you will.
I love a good nights sleep as well as anybody - I just love mine elevated...

    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.
