Husqvarna Viking Sewing machines

I've read a few people's posts about how they love their Vikings because they have a 'low gear' on them that allows them to more easily stitch through heavier materials. Do all Vikings have this gearing or is it a specific model(s)? If so which one(s)?

I don't know about ALL of them but have a 6460 and it has this feature and it is useful.
