    Buffalo River Trail in Arkansas

I'll be hiking the trail with a friend late October. We really didn't want to spend $80 on a shuttle. Seems really expensive. At the end of the trail, what are the chances we could find someone to either get us back to the car, or into the town of Jasper to eat and find a new friend headed toward the trailhead?

Hope y'all have some feedback! Thanks.

I understand wanting to keep costs down, however, when I did that same hike a number of years ago, I did use a shuttle service and it was well worth the money.

One challenge we encountered was the lack of cell phone communication down in the canyon. If you don't go with a shuttle, some sort of back up plan may well be worth the effort.
