    I had an awesome time at the Fall MAHHA! So many wonderful people, hanging out, sharing, laughing, thinking about bacon.... Here is a short video of the hang.

    Peace!

    This my setup. We got in a bit late Friday night so wound up choosing a pretty tight spot, but it worked out well for us. A friendly neighbor helped us do a little stump clearing first.

    These makeshift uqp's were only used on Saturday to protect the quilts if the wind kicked in and started blowing the rain. The was no wind till Sunday morning. We didn't sleep with these.

    Even if you did - it would still be promising... I like the idea.
    There was an Old Man with a owl,
    Who continued to bother and howl;
    He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
    Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl

    Problem for me is that I would only drown in my own sweat. I did leave the ends open so there would be some airflow. I think it would be advantageous to not have the top edges sealed up against the quilt, thereby preventing water vapor from building up. Maybe have it's main suspension cord skip a few spots to allow the mylar to bunch up and bow outward. So many projects, so little time.

    It does indeed. Nutmeg and Ronin showed us that path in the Spring. Take about the same amount of time as walking down the main road, but is much more scenic.
