    Bluzharp,

Let us know how it works with two poles and no ridgeline. I don't think it would affect the top seam on the WD...

The pole rested on top of the tarp but he said he'd not known of it ever causing an issue. Here is the link...

I'm not really too worried about it wearing the tarp - more worried about water or snow collecting on the flat area with a divot that forms. I didn't like the way it looked on my mammajamba when the poles went under the CRL but I'll have a look at it on my WD this weekend.

You could run a false ridgeline from end to end specifically for the pole mod?

If you can't find them or if you prefer send us an email and we can drop a few in the mail for you. One will elongate and fail, two work just fine with no reported failures of two rings. Maybe we will get a tag made that we can install on one tie-out indicating to use both the rings prior to shipping.
can you explain why you use two small rings instead of one larger one?..

You can use the two rings like cinch buckles if that makes sense. Your tie out can be attached and drawn tight without knots. Genius!

I wish I could take credit but actually that is how the tarps come from Paul. He has posted somewhere that that was their purpose.
