Last night I used a Pea Pod as a top quilt and the Mount Washington 4 as the underquilt. Has anyone else done this? It worked great.

never thought of the PP as a stand alone TQ...probably because at 38oz, there are many, many, thicker, warmer options.
Glad it worked...way to think outside the box!

I have used it that way just playing around. But at that weight, it is a bit much for backpacking. I sure had no trouble staying covered!
