Ridgerunner Recall

Well this stinks. I just got an email from Warbonnet about a recall on the Ridgerunner hammocks. Anyone else get one?

Yes, I got one. Great things always cause greater aches and pains. At first I was thinking I can skip it, or just dremel it myself, but it may already be damaged. So I have decided to be glad that Warbonnet is supportive enough to recall and check or fix all those hammocks, and pay for shipping. My ridgerunner is certainly my best hammock so far, and I am glad they are in business! Another Ridgerunner is still near the top of my wishlist.

Sooooo..... I got an email. I got my RR in Sept 2015. Does this recall go back that far Brandon??

I got the recall notice and purchased mine in late August of this year. If this recall goes back a year or more, that is going to be a lot of rework effort. Yikes!

Could someone post the contents of the actual e-mail? I bought my Ridgerunner second hand and I'm not on Warbonnet's e-mail list.

I do not have the email available right now, but I believe the sewn in metal ends for the spreader bars may be manufactured too sharp. It may be cutting fabric. Mine has no wear that I can see, but what do I know? I am sending it in.
