What's a dryer pack? Never heard of such thing. I do have a decent dehydrator that I use...

Holds a desiccant, like drierite or silica. I save these from everything and use them to keep my dehydrated meals dry on humid trips. Easy to reset using a dehydrator or oven. You find them in pills, and various prepared foods. I've got more than I could use in a lifetime!

Well, I spent 30 years in various R&D labs, mostly specializing in forensic work. Our motto was "You make 'em, We break 'em". So, best if I just leave MY skills at home!
