There's going to be a Supermoon tonight if anytim didn't know. Closest the moon has been to the earth since 1948 I believe.

I ended up having some Veterans Day activities to go to this evening so I think I will probably just join Broken halo at Shawnee on Saturday. Maybe see you guys next month .

Great to hear! I just got a Dutch sock, and hope to get some good use out of it this winter. If I am able to head out this month, I'll give a shout out here. Just noticed that Fuzzy's profile changed: location, equipment and avatar have been removed.

Great time at Mohican!

Over the course of the weekend, we had 8 (?) campers and 4 visitors! Mostly hammocks and one barely portable cabin (see pic!). Old faces and new, lots of nice conversations, great food and a good freeze test for our gear. 0% chance of rain, but we had our very own rainmaker with us, so we did get a slight sprinkle the first night. The clouds cleared and we a got a good look at the super moon. I thought someone had a searchlight on my hammock!

If you made this hang, feel free to post any pics. And finally, thanks to all who brought food, drink, firewood, and great attitudes to this one!
