That's the map from the DNR site. I was hoping for a better one. I'm curious if there may be natural water sources within the wilderness area. Looks to be a least one stream from Google.

As I understand it, camp 6 is at or near 2 streams.

Sorry we did not get to meet up at RRG, both our signal and plans were changing through the weekend. Hope to see you one of these things soon and have a good trip.

yes two streams come together at 6 , the wilderness area trail follows a stream up then walks along a ridge and then drops back down a stream . Actually one of the draws coming off the ridge has a large quarry from the 1800s , really neat and remote ,I have been looking to stealth camp there for awhile (did I just say that out loud).

Plans change, so I won't be there tonight, but I should be getting up there bright and early Friday morning with 6 pounds of bacon in tow.

Wow, looks like it's going to be a chilly night at Mohican State Forest. I'm considering dropping through tomorrow night, though. Could put my new LL Cayenne Pepper to a real test. Got down to about 39 last weekend at Punderson.

I got my backcountry permit - No need to stealth camp!

I'm bringing coffee, creamer, and sugar for everyone for Sat/sun morning. No one needs to bring any. I have a drip system I'm bringing too. I'm moving back my arrival time from 9am to 7am Sat morning.
