Spring UP waterfall hang!!

I can be spontaneous and with family stuff I can't always commit...so don't go by me. But those 4/22 and 4/28 dates sound nice.

I just did a 9hr drive up there. Doable, but got a little burned out on the return drive. So I guess it would depend on how far in the UP. I'll stay tuned for possible locations.

To the OP: do you have a general idea of the location? Fwiw, I kinda like the idea of doing it around Earth day....very appropriate.

I work everyother weekend but have off the weekend of April 22th. So I was thinking basically 20-23 if people want to come up fri it would be 21-23.

Ideally I would like a falls near the lower half, have a lake close by and possible trails. I have a very in depth atlas of the UP and have gone to about 20 falls up there.
I think if people who have been to some possible places start naming spots we can narrow down the perfect place.

I would think a car pool from Milwaukee could be arranged.

Still watching this from the sidelines...but I'm off 4/22, so that date is good for me. Assuming you're looking at the western UP for location.

Wow I always forget how WIDE the UP is! That's further than I thought, but actually closer since I can go thru WI.

Talked to my Michigan operative. Looking at O Kun de Kun falls. It is a little drive but I dont plan a hang for driving distance I hang for enjoyment. This place is off the NC trail and 45min walk from the lot. A told there is good spots.
So far as of now that is the spot but open to more options.
