Looks like I will get a chance to do some cold weather hanging around here this weekend as it might drop down into the 20's. If so I plan to be in the woods friday night.

Going to Neusiok? Friend of mine did 10 miles out and back from Pine Cliff last weekend. Said it was very dry in many places.

I was out on the trail with Sam the other day for a short day hike and the section I hiked was dry. Only problem was hunters had butchered a deer and left the remains on the trail and it stinks big time. Even Sam did not want to have anything to do with it.
And yes I will be on the Neusiok Trail as it is only 20 minutes from my house.

Yeah two weeks ago we did some trail work from Pinecliffs along the Neuse River to where the trail goes into the woods. All that section is good now.
